Established since 1973, the Peter Bates Flooring has been servicing the Southern African flooring market with great success. We have become a market leader not only in soft flooring but access flooring as well.

The founder of our company, Peter Bates was the one of the first pioneers to recognize the need for development of computer access flooring producing mountains of information to the public and professional teams nationwide.

Our first big installation of 37 000m² was completed in 1981 and to date we are proud to be associated with the same client, Standard Bank.

On the 1st of May 2004, the group changes hands and Peter Bates Flooring is now 66.6% black owned. Peter Bates Flooring have achieved a BEE rating of a level 4 Contributor. PBG directors are Kevin Kwan, Graham Lowery and Clint Hastings, and together they have a combined experience of 42 years. PBG have a good partnership with our local manufactures and acquired two agencies from the USA, they are Masland and Milliken Tiles.
